“An Evening with Bishop Stephen”

ON Tuesday evening, 1st October, St Stephen’s Church in Tye Green play host to Stephen Cottrell, The Bishop of Chelmsford.

“An Evening with Bishop Stephen” offers the audience to take a journey through (a few of) the many books he has written and to chat to him about his writing.

Bishop Stephen’s passions for ministry have always involved evangelism and teaching and commending the Christian faith. His interests include walking, reading, cooking, art, music and football and many of these permeate his book whether they focus on tales for the young and young at heart, poetry, the great Christian festivals or guides to deepen one’s faith.

Doors open at 7pm for “An Evening with Bishop Stephen” which starts at 7.30pm at St Stephen’s Church, Tawneys Rd, Harlow, CM18 6QR. Refreshments will be available, entrance is free and there will be a retiring collection for Harlow’s Streets 2 Homes, a charity that the Bishop has supported for many years.
