POLICE are looking to identify a man who indecently assaulted two young women in Harlow in the space of a few hours. Both sexual assaults took place on Kiln Lane in the Church Langley area of the town on Monday, July 15, with the first happening at 12:30pm. A man ran up behind an 18-year-old woman and touched her breast before running off again.

THE NHS Trust Development Authority (NHS TDA) has today confirmed the appointment of Sheila Childerhouse and Frances Pennell-Buck as interim non-executive directors of the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust.
Dr Geoff Harris, interim chair of the Trust said: “I am delighted that we have been able to appoint two hugely experienced and successful non-executive directors. The skills and experience both Sheila and Frances bring will help continue to drive the service forward as we maintain a relentless focus on improving services to patients.”
A MAN IS IN custody in Harlow after being arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm. Police were called to a property in the Rundells at just after 9.30am on Tuesday morning.

FOLLOWING a post-mortem examination on the body of a woman found at an address in Harlow officers have ruled the death is no longer suspicious. A 25-year-old woman was found dead at a property in Jocelyns just after 1pm on Sunday, July 14.

BOSS of Chill Out Kids slams Ofsted report that claims her after school club is “inadequate” as “unfounded”. Among the criticisms are that; “The owner has failed to ensure that the areas used by children are safe and secure. Staff do not keep a record of all accidents and injuries to children in their care. In addition parents are not consistently informed if their child has had an accident. This does not protect the well-being and safety of children.”

THE Harlow Family Group was unveiled by Sir Kenneth Clark in May 1956, almost immediately becoming the town’s unofficial emblem. Most locals felt that the sculpture related to Harlow’s adopted name of ‘Pram Town’. Prior to the unveiling, a rumour had spread amongst residents that the sculpture depicted obscene imagery. This encouraged the local ‘purity squad’ to turn up to protest at the unveiling.

POLICE are appealing for information following a burglary in Harlow during which fishing equipment was stolen. A window to a property in Rundells, Harlow, was smashed at around 2am on July 9, and fishing equipment worth a four-figure sum was stolen.
