POLICE have arrested two teenage boys after a pensioner was seriously injured in an assault at Harlow. The 76-year-old victim suffered a broken hip and broken arm and will require major surgery as a result of the incident at an underpass between Staple Tye and Bishopsfield at 5.15pm on Wednesday October 16. The boys, aged 17 and 14 and both from Harlow were arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. They have both been bailed until November 21 pending further enquiries.
POLICE are appealing for information about four youths who assaulted a pensioner as he walked through an underpass between Staple Tye and Bishopsfield in Harlow. The man was approached by the youths at around 5.15pm on Wednesday October 16 as he walked back from the shops after buying a lottery ticket. He suffered a broken hip and broken arm following the assault and will have to have major surgery.

A MAN has been remanded in court custody having appeared in connection with the serious assault of a man in Harlow. Kieron Mulkay, 20, of Churchfield, Harlow, was charged with GBH with intent in connection with the assault of an 18-year-old man from Harlow which happened in Ladyshot just after 7pm on October 3.
A man who had walked in to the store but arrived and left on a mobility scooter, was challenged by staff but rode away on the scooter before they could contact police. He is believed to be responsible for a similar theft at the same store on August 20.
POLICE are appealing for information after a woman was robbed in Staple Tye, Harlow. At noon on September 26TH a woman aged in her 20s dropped her purse on the footpath outside the Lister Medical Centre. As she bent down to pick it up she was barged out of the way and her purse was taken.
POLICE would like to hear from anyone who recognises an image of a man who was caught on CCTV at the time of a theft from the One Stop Store, The Stow, in Harlow. On Monday August 26, between 8.30am and 9am, a suspect has entered the store and placed a number of items from the displays into a box he was carrying before leaving without paying for them.
POLICE are searching for a man who is alleged to have grabbed two 12-year-old girls while they were walking a dog in Harlow.
