Harlow schools urged to sign up for Risk-Avert programme

SECONDARY and Primary schools across Harlow are being urged to sign up to the Risk-Avert programme, which helps children and young people understand and manage risk, improve decision-making and leads to improvements in emotional health and resilience.

Delight as Burnt Mill gets green light for new school

The Sir Frederick Gibberd College is a free school sponsored by the Burnt Mill Academy Trust and aims to open in September 2018, with eight forms of entry for Year 7 students. From 2020 the College will be able to offer 250 Sixth Form places. It will have a special focus on offering “facilitating” subjects for university admissions at A level.
