Update: Statement from Essex Police: We were called to concerns for the welfare of a woman in car park off High Street, in Old Harlow, shortly after 1.20pm today Saturday 4 January.

We arrived alongside other emergency services and, sadly, found a woman had died.

Her death is being treated as unexpected but not, at this stage, suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.

THE EMERGENCY services have cordoned off a corner of a car park in Old Harlow.

A number of police cars and an ambulance were in attendance (1500 hrs) at The Green Man public house car park off the High Street in Old Harlow.
