A HARLOW man has been charged with a series of sex offences involving children, spread over a seventeen year period.

Ian Green, aged 44, of Kingsland, Harlow appeared at Chelmsford magistrates court, charged with the following.

The alleged offences range from July 2004 to November 2021.

Between May 25th 2018 and July 6th, 2020 at Bishop’s Stortford raped a girl aged 13.

Between July 13th 2012 and July 7th 2013, at Roydon, intentionally caused or incited a girl under the age of 13, namely 8 or 9 years, to engage in sexual activity.

Between July 7th 2017 and November 1st, 2021 at Bishop’s Stortford caused a girl of 13 to engage in sexual activity.

Between July 6th 2012 and July 6th, 2017 in Bishop’s Stortford, sexually assaulted a child aged 8.

Between July 7th 2020 and November 1st, 2021 in Bishop’s Stortford raped a woman aged sixteen or over.

Between July 7th 2017 and November 1st, 2021 at Bishop’s Stortford sexually assaulted a girl aged 13.

Between July 7th 2017 and July 7th, 2019 at Hertfordshire, sexually assaulted a girl aged 13.

Between May 24th, 2018 and May 25th, 2018 at Bishop’s Stortford, raped a girl aged 13.

Between July 7th 2004 and July 6th 2020 at Bishop’s Stortford raped a girl aged 13, 14 and 15.

Between July 7th, 2017 and July 7th, 2019 at Bishop’s Stortford raped a girl aged between 13 and 15.

Between July 13th, 2012 and July 7th, 2013 at Bishop’s Stortford sexually assaulted an eight-year-old girl.

Between July 6th, 2012 and July 6th, 2017 at Bishop’s Stortford incited an eight-year-old girl into sexual activity.

Between July 7th 2020 and October er 31st, 2021 raped a woman aged 16 or over.

Between July 7th 2017 and July 6th, 2020 at Bishop’s Stortford raped a child.

Between July 7th 2017 and July 6th 2020 at Hertfordshire raped a girl aged 13.

Between July 7th, 2017 and February 2nd, 2018 sexually assaulted a child aged 13.

Green has been released on unconditional bail.

The next court date is February 24th, 2026 at Chelmsford Crown Court.

No indication of plea at this point.
