A NUMBER of Pemberley Academy teachers have been nominated for Essex Teaching Awards.

A spokesperson said: “We are a school that is genuinely blessed to have so many committed and talented staff, without each and every one, Pemberley wouldn’t be the school it is.

“This week, we received the news that five of our staff had been nominated for ‘Teacher of the Year’ in the primary school category at the Essex Teaching Awards 2020.

The school was also nominated as School of the Year.

The nominees are Mr Foley, Mr Kalafi, Mrs Rowe, Mr Steele and Mr Webb and we appreciate the nominations from all of our parents and members of the community.

“It’s not why we do the job, but it’s always welcomed”.
