Police call for licence review of Harlow Town Centre pub
Crime / Thu 23rd Jun 2022 at 01:24pm
ESSEX Police has called for a review of the licence for a pub in the centre of Harlow Town Centre.
The pub in question is The Clock House on Market Square in Harlow.
Notice of a review was given on June 22nd, 2022.

A notice has been placed in the front window of the pub.
YH went there on Thursday, just after midday, but it was shut.
The reason for the application was: That in the opinion of a Senior Police Officer, the premises are associated with serious crime and disorder.
Further details can be seen below.

Is this shut indefinitely oh I wonder if someone else will look to run this
About time... shut the damn place down....
Hurrah - hope the closure is permanent.
Maybe if the police patrolled the town centre on a regular basis it might prevent anti-social behaviour? You only see them after an incident with their ticker tape, standing around like lemons. It's easier for them to shut a pub that is used by the community than for them to do their job.
