A WOMAN is due to appear in court today charged with attempted murder after an incident in Harlow in the early hours of Sunday morning.

A police spokesperson said: “We were called to reports of a man who had been injured during a disturbance at a property in Torkildsen Way, Harlow.

The incident was reported to us shortly after 3.20am on Sunday 26 June.

The man, aged in his 30s, required treatment at hospital, where he remains.

Cayleigh Reid, 25, of Windsor Road, in Slough has been charged with one count of attempted murder and one count of attempted GBH.

She is due to appear at Colchester Magistrates’ Court today, Tuesday 28 June.
