IT has not been an easy term for Katherines Primary Academy. A large part of the school is out of use as a consequence of RAAC. The consequence of that is that pupils are spread across the NET Academy estate (Abbotsweld, Longwood etc).

However, this is a school that has earned a great reputation for community spirit.

So, when it came to Christmas, they hired out parts of the Paringdon Club and held what was a magic and very special day.

We spoke to headteacher Annette Morris about they and what it has meant for all the pupils, parents and staff.
