ECCO is proud to announce that Milwards Primary are the first recipients of the ECCO Environmental Fund

After launching the ECCO Environmental Fund earlier this month, ECCO is proud to announce the first recipient of a grant, Milwards Primary School.

The team at ECCO are looking forward to working with Milwards Primary and supporting the brilliant work that the school do. 

The lead forest school practitioner at Milwards, Mr Smith, shared the following, “We are so excited and grateful to receive support from the ECCO environmental fund. With this money, Milwards will be able to launch new projects including a litter picking scheme and gardening club. In addition, we will enrich our outdoor curriculum with new equipment for Geography field work, sand and water play for our Key Stage 1 playground  and construction in the early years.

“This grant will provide the children with more meaningful outdoor experiences and expose them to learning about nature, understand their impact on the world and how they can make a positive contribution to their local area.”
