SUPER Harlow distance runner Catherine Ridge produced a superb performance at the London Marathon and raise hundreds for local charity Razed Roof.

Catherine competed all 26 miles 385 yards in 3 hrs, 33 minutes and 43 seconds.

Her husband Terry and her two children were at the 11 mile mark to cheer her on.

Catherine has been a stalwart of the Harlow running community but has always wanted to give back when she can.

So she was delighted to raise over £700 for Razed Roof.

Catherine said: “London Marathon 2025 completed! Official time 3:33:43 and what an awesome experience it was.

I had the pleasure of running the first half with former Harlow RC runner Fieke Reijntes and we just enjoyed the party.

It was a lovely surprise to see my husband Terry and the children at mile 11.

As for race, I felt quite strong until 20 miles then it got really tough but with incredible support from the crowds and my local running clubs who were marshalling, I actually ran my fastest London time!
