With pain in our hearts, we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, Marie-Luise Elisabeth Heinecke in the early hour of 19th January 2025.

Originating from Germany, she moved to Harlow in 1966 led a remarkable and fulfilling life journey as a language teacher, florist, lover of art and classical music for decades, leaving lasting memories.

Her helpful and versatile manner touched everyone who got to know her.
After her Funeral at St Mary’s Great Parndon on Monday, 16th February 11am
she will be cremated and taken to her family grave in Kassel, Germany to find her final peace.

Please join us in remembering Marlies, whose strength, spirit and love will forever be with us.
