SATURDAY saw a wonderful collection of graffiti artists put together a series of works in Harlow Town Centre.
Along Broad Walk, talented street artists turned the hoardings into bold, beautiful murals – creating an inspiring space filled with creativity and community spirit.

Our reporter Jupiter, took her camera down to film the artists in action.
Murwalls Live saw over sixty artists at work. Not only was the end product brilliant but residents and visitors really enjoyed watch them create.
Goody gumdrops. Get us a cup of tea, would you, Errol? I take it is Bricktop?
jarrett, search youtube for 'Snatch Wars' if you've not seen it, a mix of Bricktop and Star Wars, very funny.
Absolutely Jupiter, town was buzzing with people, smiles, camera's etc, all increasing the general footfall in to the surrounding shops.
Took my granddaughter , she loved it. Many thanks to Harlow Council for bringing it to town
They look great. But the fact that Banksy has now been identified and not charged with criminal damage means that they inevitably will get "tagged".Infact it looks like the one by Netteswell Pond already has which is not good.
When I lived in New Zealand almost 35 years ago there was a group of youngsters that did murals on hoarding etc their creativity was amazing. So this is a long time in the waiting & it's excellent what has been achieved. The one time I did go to the town center it was nothing but hideous hoarding everywhere so this is an improvement & I for one salute the artists
Just hope no one messeys them up.
