In the olden days, Brass bands and musical groups playing at the town park had good turn outs. One of the reasons was the old swimming pool had a massive car park for the majority of those who went by car. Sadly both are no longer there so I wonder rather than see the narrow roads of School and Park Lane swamped, wether it would be possible to use the showground car park which has a huge car park ? You could should you wish, charge £1 per car and that might fund the events, with an occasional charity day event should you wish to?
