Harlow resident scoops quarter million Postcode Lottery win!

JUST one person has scooped this month’s £250,000 prize on Postcode Lottery – but it’s the FOURTH big win for the area in just over two years.
The player, of Harlow, was the sole winner when the lottery’s monthly prize landed in CM18 7JU on Saturday 30 May. Their ticket was worth £250k.

But the big windfall is the latest to land in Harlow. Less than two miles away, Reg Dosell and wife Lynda, both 79, shared £1m with another neighbour after CM18 6ES bagged the lottery’s weekly Millionaire Street prize on Saturday 17 January. Every ticket was worth £333,333.
The couple’s win came six weeks to the day after three Harlow tower block neighbours also bagged £333,333 each.
And almost exactly two years earlier, 11 neighbours shared a £1m pot just one mile from today’s winning postcode.
Lottery ambassador Matt Johnson said: “I should get a one-way ticket to Harlow, because here we are again with another big prize.
A huge congratulations to our sole winner this month and I hope they can make lovely memories with their prize.”
The winner chose to remain anonymous.
How it works
Postcode Lottery costs £12.50 a month to play and there are guaranteed winners every day. People play with their chosen postcode and are automatically entered into all draws.
Details of all the prizes players have the chance to win with a monthly subscription can be found here.
Players can check if their postcode is a winner on Postcode Lottery’s Lottery Results page.
Players of Postcode Lottery have raised more than £1.7 billion for thousands of charities and local good causes.
This prize was promoted on behalf of Postcode Children Trust which supports charities including Barnardo’s, Daisy Chain and NSPCC.
"The winner chose to remain anonymous." Best thing to do otherways you'd need loads of ancestry swabs to take care of all of those who suddenly claim to be relatives
