Man charged with four assaults following incident at GP surgery

A HARLOW man has been charged with a number of assaults in relation to an incident at a GP surgery.
Peter Hayes, aged 43, of Shawbridge, Harlow appeared at Chelmsford magistrates court, charged with the following.
On April 30th, 2026 at Harlow assaulted a woman by beating her.
On April 30th, 2026 at Harlow assaulted a man by beating her.
On April 30th, 2026, assaulted a police sergeant and a police constable in the execution of their duty.
Hayes has been remanded on conditional bail. One condition is not to enter Lister House Health Centre, Abercrombie Way, Harlow.
His next appearance is scheduled for July 22nd, 2026.
