A SUMMER of hard work and plenty of noise has paid off for the students of Harlow’s Very own Rock school. They found out this week that their entry into the Jack Petechy anthem competition has made it through to the top ten. Organiser Sue explained,’We started with songwriting groups and this song came out of it slowly, over the summer the music was written by several of our talented young people people and submitted mid August.
Getting through to the knock out stages secured the young people a chance to get some insider advice at a music bootcamp before progressing. The song, which you can hear below, is now through to the next round of the competition on September 30th where five finalists will be put through to a judges vote.
