THIS Friday, The Square Harlow will be hosting a 90s night in order to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.
Organiser Steph Franklin has been hosting charity nights for the last three years but this year is extra special, ‘We will be celebrating with our good friend Garry on his return to good health. Over the the last ten months he has been battling testicular cancer which had spread to the bottom gland of his spine.’
As well as raidsing money on the night, she hopes the event will also help raise awareness of testicular cancer, ‘I’m hoping to raise awareness and to encourage guys to check for any swelling, lumps etc.’
Stand up to cancer will be a night of 90 Dance, Britpop and HipHop from The Squares resident DJs. Tickets will be £5 Advance and £6.50 on Door.
