Harlow’s former police chief Ben Hodder charged with making indecent images of children

HARLOW’S former district commander has been charged with two counts of making indecent images of children.

Ben Hodder, 34, was arrested on suspicion of a sex offence on May 8 this year and has subsequently been suspended by Essex Police.

He has been released on bail to appear at Basildon Magistrates’ Court on November 6.

Hodder was chief inspector in Harlow between 2010 and 2012.
