AFTER a summer break, the highly anticipated comedy nights return this week at The Square in Harlow, featuring three great circuit comedians – Mike Gunn, Ninia Benjamin and Stafano Paolini.

Barnet born Mike Gunn has been a successful stand-up comedian for over 15 years. Well-known for his pessimistic outlook on life, his dark comic wit has led to him headlining comedy clubs throughout the UK, an appearance on Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Road Show and taking his comedy as far afield as Australia and New Zealand. He recently joined comedian Lee Mack as a special guest on his UK tour and is planning a solo tour in 2016.

Ninia Benjamin is best known for her appearances on comedy television shows including 3 Non-Blondes and Lenny Henry’s Len on the One. Her stand up routines, often featuring stories about her life and her pet cat, have gone from strength to strength and her charismatic screen presence has led to appearances on discussion shows such as Sky Comedy Close Up and reality shows including BBC3’s Celebrity Scissorhands.

Renowned for his comic impressions and beatboxing, comedian Stafano Paolini bases much of his comedy on his upbringing and his parent’s Italian heritage. He received the runner-up prize in Channel 4’s So You Think You’re Funny in 2001 and the BBC’s New Comedy Award in 2002 and frequently features on television and radio shows including Dead Ringers and Loose Ends on BBC Radio 4.

All three comics promise a hilarious and diverse evening of comedy on a Wednesday night in Harlow. The evening begins in the Main Room at The Square on September 9th from 19:30.
