THE Harvey Centre has agreed to support local charity fundraiser, Terry Card, in his plight to raise money for St Clare Hospice Hastingwood and Macmillan Cancer Support. Terry’s charity work is well known in Harlow, having raised £813 for St Clare Hospice last year.
The Harvey Centre has agreed to donate £150 to both charities (totalling £300), which are tremendously important causes and the centre is thrilled to support them. Terry will also be coming back to the centre early next year to raise further money for both of these very important charities.
Bryan Young, Centre Manager at The Harvey Centre says, “We are thrilled to support Terry in his quest to raise money for St Clare Hospice and Macmillan Cancer Support. Every year he puts it upon himself to raise money for these vital charities – it is quite amazing what he has achieved throughout the years. To thank Terry for his charity work we have also sent him a few Christmas goodies for his dogs – who are local celebrities in their own right!”
