Buckhurst Hill 1st XI 262-6 Beat Harlow 1st XI 136 all out

HARLOW suffered another lose and are now in a real relegation battle. Having won the toss they elected to put Buckhurst Hill into bat. Harlow could not break the opening partnership of Buckhurst Hill who put on 146 before the first wicket fell. After that wickets went at at steady pace without any other batsman scoring much.

The opener Hendro Puchert finally going for 106 off the bowling of Mustanser Meraj, who took a 2nd wicket later to finish with figures of 45-2. Zabi Hakimi also took two to finish on 45-2 also. With just over 5 an over required Harlow lost a wicket for just 36 runs Alan Jones going for 20. Wickets then fell at regular intervals with Harlow collapsing to 64-8. Only a late flourish from number 10 Muhammad Naeem who top scored with 44 made the score slightly respectable. Next up for Harlow who sit 2nd bottom is Gidea Park and Romford who are 3rd bottom some 15 points ahead of Harlow. It is a must win game if they are to avoid relegation after a good start to the season.

Harlow 2nd XI 154 all out Lost to Orsett and Thurrock 2nd XI 155-7

Harlow won the toss and elected to bat. Just like the 1st XI wickets fell early and this continued through out the innings. Apart from Surath Bastola putting on 48 and 28 from Callum Sykes it was a struggle with bat for most, being all dismissed for 154 in just 34.2 overs. In reply Orsett got off two a steady start with openers both scoring 31 before went off the bowling of Danny Stone and Lewis Aldred. Chasing a low score Orsett where never under a lot of pressure and reached their target in 30 overs for lose of 7 wickets. Lewis Aldred finished with 40-3 and callum Sykes 38-2. Result leaves them mid table still needing a few more points to be safe for the season.

Harlow 3rd XI 196 all out lost to Wanstead and Snaresbrook 3rd XI 200 all out.

Harlow won the toss and put Wanstead into bat. Wanstead made a steady start before a flurry of wickets fell, they then steadied before more fell and where dismissed for 200 runs. Waheed Azam took 27-2 and Amir Farooq 38-2 with the rest spread about. In reply Harlow lost an early wicket of Dipendra Basnet for just 2. Harlow then seemed to have wickets fall readily with the exception of Atif Mustehsan who top scored with 101 but to no avail with Amir Farooq scoring 34 and falling 5 runs short of victory. They sit comfortably midtable 52 points above relegation zone.

Old Southedians and Southchurch 3rd XI 182 all out beat Harlow 4th XI 150 all out

Old Souths won the toss and elected to bat. Got off to a slow start and Harlow had them on 41-4. Old Souths improved slightly and moved onto 119-6. Before going on to 135-9. Harlow struggled to get the last wicket and finally bowled them out for 182. Wickets takers where Ilhan Mustafa 24-4, Thomas Smith Hughes 35-2, Mashood Iqbal 42-2 and Jake Hikmatshah 29-2. In reply Harlow 4th XI seem to be like all the other Harlow sides and left their batting at home. Wickets fell and a regular basic with Captain Rob Coldwell top scoring with 41, four batsman not troubling the bowlers. The result leaves Harlow in 3rd spot just one point off promotion with all still to play for.
