Winter Warmer events help local people to stay well
As the colder months loom, the message from the local NHS, district councils and the voluntary sector is stay well this winter. People most at risk during colder weather, including those with long-term health conditions and the over 65s, are encouraged to prepare for the lower temperatures.
This year West Essex CCG, Rainbow Services and local councils are organising a series of Winter Warmer events to help the local population survive through the winter months.
These free events include informative talks from pharmacists, nurses and specialist health advisors. There will be a range of information stands, health checks and activities.
The events run all day and include a free lunch, booking is required.
