Harlow woman faces fraud trial over power of attorney and abuse of position

A HARLOW woman faces a trial over a case of fraud whilst having power of attorney over an elderly woman.
Janice Plummer, aged 64, of Crossbill Way, Newhall has been charged with the following.
Between 29/03/2010 and 01/03/2016 at Loughton committed fraud in that, while occupying a position, namely Lasting Power of Attorney, in which you were expected to safeguard, or not to act against, the financial interests of Yolanda Delamore, you dishonestly abused that position intending thereby to make a gain, namely, for yourself.
A trial date of June 20th at Chelmsford Crown Court has been set.
Plummer has been released on unconditional bail.
