HARLOW Running Club member Rich Hynes finished in 5th place out of 367 finishers at the midweek Victoria Park 10K in a fantastic 36min 49sec. Danny McCree was 19th in 39.32 and Martyn Coulter 26th in a PB time of 40.21.

At the same event in the 5K race Dean Bull finished in 93rd place out of 185 finishers in 40.25.

Meanwhile at the weekend Danny McCree was again in action at the Finsbury Park 10K finishing in 6th place out of 176 finishers in 40.25.

At the Standard Chartered Great City Race 5K in the City of London Craig Segal finished in 67th place out of 5312 finishers in an excellent PB time of 17.31.

At the Triathlon England National Aquathlon Championships at Ferry Meadows Country Park in Peterborough (750m lake swim, 5k run) Andy Kitson finished in 38th place out of 166 finishers in 32.50, winning the silver medal in the Vet 40 category, Gail Nicholls was 132nd in 41.18 winning the bronze medal in the Female Vet 50 category and Louise Kedge 135th in 41.56.

At the Maldon Triathlon (1.5km open water swim / 45km Cycle / 10km Run), Ryan Smith finished in 16th place out of 82 finishers in 2.39.24, Anna Robey was 39th in 2.54.24 and Jim Martim 41st in 2.55.45.

At Harlow parkrun Ryan Smith finished in 5th place out of 228 finishers in 20.20. He was followed home by Martyn Coulter 10th in 20.37, Lee Webber 11th in 21.08, Ben Usher 22nd in 22.51, Catherine Ridge 26th in 23.02, Tom Ruszkowski 37th in 23.51 (PB), Steve Cowlin 38th in 23.53, Martin Elven 46th in 24.18, Graham Saville 49th in 24.45, Laura Prime 57th in 25.33, Paul Dixon 58th in 25.44, Wendy Schroder 62nd in 26.12, Alan Cootes 74th in 27.14, Robin Lozeau 76th in 27.26, Spencer Brooks 91st in 28.28, Andrew Smith 92nd in 28.35, Louise Cootes 97th in 29.10, Jeff Mace 110th in 30.18, Hossein Erfani 123rd in 31.11, Pushpa Mistry 126th in 31.24, Tracie Cook 136th in 32.22 and Marc Witham 161st in 34.45.

At Ware parkrun Martin Westley finished in 3rd place out of 62 finishers in 19.17, Karen Moir was 35th in 29.57, Jane Evans 37th in 30.21, Teresa Stickland 38th in 30.49, Joy Hale 39th in 31.08, Lindsey Pearson 42nd in 33.50 and Liz Roberts 49th in 37.25.

At Bishop’s Stortford parkrun Darren Rautenbach finished in 48th place out of 331 finishers in 23.21 and David Page was 100th in 26.18.

At Thurrock parkrun Alan Wellbelove finished in 35th place out of 86 finishers in 27.15.
