THE Harvey Centre in Harlow is delighted to announce that they will be holding a number of free, fun, family events in The Terrace, its dedicated dining and leisure space, commencing in July and running throughout the year.

This great calendar of events kicks off on Saturday 28th July, with free face painting for kids between 11am – 4pm, as part of the PJ Masks event. This will be followed on Sunday 5th August, with performances by Harlow Town Centre Award winning dance group, Hip Hop Pop at 11.30am, 12.15pm and 1pm. Performers are sure to amaze shoppers with their show stopping, energetic street dance routines – definitely one not to miss!

Throughout Autumn and Winter there will be further dance, music and art to enjoy in The Terrace. In October customers will be able to try their hand (and feet) at ballroom dancing under the guidance of talented tutors. There will also be more face painting for kids to enjoy. A whole host of activity is then planned for the run-up to Christmas, to help everyone get into the festive spirit. More details on this activity will be shared nearer the time.

The Terrace offers customers a range of mouth-watering dining options. The Burger Priest offers a great selection of burgers which are created with 100% Aberdeen Angus Beef, sourced from only three farms in the UK. The meat is totally steroid free and contains no artificial preservatives. Sticky Sisters offers dine-in and takeaway to customers in its striking dining space, complete with giant sauce wheel to help customers choose their favourite flavour. Sticky Sisters has a diverse offering of 25 sauces to cater for a wide range of tastes and a great menu that includes its signature chicken wings, vegetarian options, speciality milkshakes and alcohol.

For those that fancy an all you can eat buffet, The Real China serves authentic Chinese food, in an incredible traditional-style setting. For people who want a quick bite there is also a Burger King and Subway.

The on-site Cineworld, which shows all the latest movie releases, makes the ideal way to end the perfect night out with friends, family or partners and offers the ideal solution to keeping the kids entertained. Plus with parking adjacent to The Terrace, it couldn’t be easier for customers to visit.

Bryan Young, Centre Manager at The Harvey Centre said, “The Terrace is the perfect destination for people wanting to come after work with friends and family to eat and drink in a variety of family friendly restaurants before checking out the latest blockbuster at Cineworld. The activity we are planning to put on in The Terrace will only add to the already great atmosphere and create an added element of free fun for all to enjoy.”
