Harlow couple face trial over theft of £55,000 worth of jewellery from Harvey Centre store

A HARLOW couple are set to stand trial over theft of £55,000 worth of jewellery from H Samuel in the Harvey Centre.
Sophie McGurk, aged 25, of The Briars, Harlow is charged with the following.
Between 01/03/2018 and 24/05/2018 at Harlow stole LARGE AMOUNTS OF JEWELLERY ITEMS, to the value of APPROX £55,000 belonging to H SAMUEL STORE, HARLOW.
Robert Westall, aged 30, of Milwards, Harlow is charged with the following.
Between 01/03/2018 and 24/05/2018 at Harlow dishonestly undertook or assisted in the retention, removal, disposal or realisation of stolen goods, namely large quantity of jewellery, to the value of up to £55,000, belonging to H SAMUEL, HARLOW by or for the benefit of Sophie MCGUIRK or dishonestly arranged so to do, knowing or believing the same to be stolen goods
A trial date of April 3rd at Chelmsford Crown Court has been set.
Both have been released on unconditional bail.
