TWO WOMEN sustained serious injuries after a road traffic collision in the Ladyshot area of Harlow on Friday morning.

The road referenced to is Momples Road which runs from near the Purple Emperor down to First Avenue.

An Essex Police spokesperson said: “We were called to reports of a collision near the Ladyshot estate in Harlow shortly after 8am on Thursday 3 October.

Two women sustained potentially life-changing injuries and remain in hospital for treatment.

A 27-year-old man from Harlow was arrested later that day on suspicion of failing to stop at the scene of a collision, theft, two offences of theft from a shop, going equipped and two offences of making off without payment.

“He has since been released under investigation as our enquiries continue.
