HARLOW’S business community has been steadily growing for some years now and the town is on the verge of the realisation of many of its ambitions including the relocation of Public Health England, the delivery of Harlow Science Park and new housing development. Each of these brings opportunities for the Harlow & District Chamber of Commerce.

With many thanks to our existing Chair Robert Findlay, we are looking for a new Chair who can lead us into this next stage of the Chamber’s development.

We are looking for someone who can –

· Provide leadership to the Chamber in realising the opportunities that a growing Harlow can bring
· Represent the needs of Chamber members to key stakeholders
· Lobby organisations and key stakeholders to advance the business interests of the district
· Increase our membership
· Ensure our organisation is meeting the needs of Members current and new
· With the Board, manage our resources to deliver the work of the Chamber
· Increase our income and financial sustainability
