Harlow teenage yobs who vandalised and stole from Marcel Honiss’ grave escape jail

TWO teenagers who vandalised and stole from the grave of a much-loved teenager have both escaped jail but have been fined heavily.

Harry Kings, aged 18, of Upper Mealines, Harlow and Jack Tucker, aged 18, of Great Leylands, Harlow pleaded guilty at Chelmsford magistrates court of the following.

On 15/08/2019 at Harlow without lawful excuse, damaged property laid at the grave of Marcel Honiss, namely: a football, a canvas picture of the deceased, a cross and solar lights. to the value of unknown belonging to Alan Honiss intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged.

On 15/08/2019 at Harlow stole two footballs and an engraved pebble of a value unknown belonging to Alan Honiss.

Kings was fined £500.00 and will have to carry out 250 hours of unpaid community work over the next twelve months.

Tucker was also fined £500.00 and will have to carry of 200 hours of unpaid community work over next twelve months.
