ST Clare Hospice, has launched a festive selection of greeting cards, available to purchase in any of their eight charity shops and online within their eBay store.
The collection of 17 holiday season cards include an array of traditional and festive designs, with three cards featuring local landscapes in the snow illustrated by artists living within the community.
St Clare’s annual collection of local landscape cards includes hand-painted artwork of “Saffron Walden in Winter” and “Great Dunmow in Winter” (by Nicky Baron), and “Essex in Winter” (by Mark Sherard) featuring Ongar High Street, The Guildhall in Thaxted, St John’s in Epping, and St Mary and St Hugh’s in Old Harlow all on one card.
All of the 17 designs are available to purchase in any of St Clare’s eight charity shops and online at ebay.co.uk/str/stclarehospice with prices ranging from £2.79 to £4.49 for a pack of ten cards.
Purchasing festive cards from St Clare Hospice will help to raise vital funding that will go towards the charity’s compassionate, palliative care throughout West Essex and East Hertfordshire. £3.49 (the average price of a pack of St Clare cards) could be enough to pay for a dose of Morphine for a patient staying on their Inpatient Unit – a vital pain relief medication that is used every day at St Clare to help keep patients comfortable and manage their symptoms.
