Harlow driver charged over incident at Level Crossing

A HARLOW man has been charged with careless driving after an alleged incident at a level crossing.
Haydn Harris, aged 28, of Cannons Brook, Harlow has been charged with the following.
On 27/11/2019 at Little Hallingbury, Essex drove a mechanically propelled vehicle, on a public place, namely Spellbrook Level Crossing, Dell Lane, Little Hallingbury without due care and attention.
It is alleged that On 27/11/2019, the defendant drove a vehicle on Spellbrook Level Crossing, Dell Lane, Little Hallingbury, without due care and attention in that he entered the level crossing, partially blocking the exit, causing the lowering barriers to come into contact with the vehicle and the barriers be pulled off when the defendant drove away.
Contrary to section 3 of the Road Traffic Act 1988 and Schedule 2 to the Road Traffic Offenders Act 1988.
The case has been adjourned to July 23rd at Chelmsford Magistrates Court.
