Harlow resident in court over two assaults and thirteen offences in relation to sex offenders register

A HARLOW resident has pleaded guilty to multiple offences in relation to the sex offenders register.
Scapau Costica, aged 42, of Berecroft, Harlow pled to the following at Chelmsford magistrates court.

Between October 1st, 2025 and May 21st, 2025 at Salisbury, Wiltshire, being a relevant offender within the terms of section 80 of the Sexual Offences Act 2003 failed without reasonable excuse to comply with the notification requirements as provided by Part 2 of that Act in that failed to register within 7 days of no fixed abode on 13 occasions.
Costica has been released on conditional bail.
His next court appearance is scheduled for October 28th, 2026 at Cambridge magistrates court.

Costica has also been charged with assault.
On June 1st, 2026, assaulted a person by beating them.
He has pleaded not guilty.
