A MAN has been arrested and charged after a number of police were called to Newhall on Monday night.

An Essex Police spokesperson said: “We were called to reports of a disturbance at an address in the Newhall area of Harlow at around 10.20pm on Monday 13 September.

Officers arrested a 34 year-old man.

“Daniel Wernham, of Orchard Croft, Harlow has been charged with criminal damage and being drunk and disorderly.

“He is due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on 29 September”.
