AN appeal has been made after a van ploughed into a stationary vehicle before driving off.

The road traffic collision occurred at 9pm (approx) Friday April 1st on Church Road outside St Mary Magdalene Church (Potter Street).

A Brownie Group were in the local hall.

A witness said that the dark coloured van was driving at speed and had come from the cul de sac at junction with Latton Street cycle track.

It has created extensive damage to the parked car that may well have to be “written off”.

The van may well also have extensive damage as well.

There may well be a van in your street, near garages, or limped into your repair shop or the car park at work.
