Harlow Gymnastics Club take home amazing haul of medals

A HAUL of 90 medals for Harlow Gymnastics Club’s 40 gymnasts who performed at the Spiral Rocks competition in Peterborough. Gymnasts competed against clubs from Norfolk, Cambridge and Essex in from the Amethyst, Jade, Topaz and Ruby through to the premier Sapphire event.
Renee Firth-Moon triumphed with the all-age Sapphire trophy after earning gold for bars and beam, silver on floor and bronze for vault in the age 11 event.
Competing in the age 12-13 sapphire event, Kara McMahon accomplished gold for bars, beam, and floor as well as bronze on vault. Grace Hoskin secured silver on vault and bars, and bronze on beam, while Summer Dolan gained gold on vault and silver on floor.

Skye Girolami was rewarded with silver on bars, beam, and floor in addition to gold on vault in the sapphire age 14+ event.
Competing in the ruby age 12 event, Lola Manuel achieved silver on vault and bronze on beam.
Emily Price seized gold on vault, silver on bars and bronze in both beam and floor in the ruby age 13+ event, and Emily Forey gained gold on bars and floor as well as silver on beam, while Mia Brine won gold on beam and silver on vault. In the same event Elsie Leverington captured bronze for vault and bars in addition to silver on floor.
Meanwhile, in the topaz contests, Ivy Clarke earned gold for bars and bronze on beam in the age 9 topaz event.
Natasha Bishop took gold on bars and silver on beam in the age 10 topaz event, and Olivia Palmer collected silver on vault and floor alongside bronze on bars, while Olivia Beckwith attained silver on bars. In the same event teammates Milli Battelley and Maybel Brookes placed 7th and 9th overall respectively.
The gold for bars in the topaz age 11 was shared by Lara Petridis and Sofia Shraka, Lara also collected the silver for beam. Layla Clark received the bronze on bars, and teammate Poppy Bridgewater placed 8th overall in the same event.
Renee Stewart, Sienna Smith and Lucy Brough placed 6th, 7th and 8th respectively in the topaz age 12-13 event.
In the topaz age 14+ event, Ellie Aimable obtained the gold for bars, while Grace Codlin placed 8th overall.
Saoirse Casy-Bond was awarded with gold for vault and beam in the Jade age 10 event. Shilah Wynter-Glace took bronze for bars and beam in addition to silver on vault, while Dulcey Pope achieved silver on vault and bronze on beam. Eva Reeves and Lexi Dolan shared the bronze on vault, with teammate Deliliah Cavandish placing 9th overall in the same event.
Aria Franklin became the all-age Jade champion after victory in the Jade age 8 events with gold for bars, beam and floor as well as silver on vault. In the same event, Lotte New won gold on vault, silver on beam and bronze on floor.
In the Jade age 9 event, Marci Short earned gold on vault as well as silver on beam and floor. Isla Edwards collected gold on beam and shared silver on vault with Poppy White, who also picked-up silver on bars. Emilie Britton achieved gold on floor and bronze on vault, and Peyton Poole placed 11th overall in the same event.
Competing in her first competition, Penelope Baylis accomplished the overall amethyst trophy after gathering gold for vault, bars and floor, and silver for beam in the age 6-7 amethyst contest. Teammate Olive Clarke gained silver for vault and bars as well as bronze on floor.
Finally, in the amethyst age 7-8 event, Francesca Walton seized gold on vault, bars and floor, and bronze on beam, while Bluebelle Berry captured gold on bars and floor as well as silver on beam. Olivia Smith secured gold on beam, silver on vault and bars, and bronze on floor, while Grace Deacon-Rooney was awarded silver on floor and bronze for vault and bars.
