Kind-hearted couple make vital donation to Star room at PAH

A KIND-HEARTED couple have made a number of vital donations to the Star Room at Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH).
The donations from Laura and Mitchell Milward come after they have raised over £3,500 for the room and for those who have suffered a death in such circumstances.
The Star Room is for bereaved parents to spend time and bond with their baby/babies after such horrific trauma, due to stillborn or neonatal death.
Laura said: “We were really pleased to donate all the items to the hospital. The Star room offers a lot of homely similarities, which constantly need updating.
“My husband Mitchell and I have been working hard to make sure we replace what is needed. Just to name a few, we have already brought, baby blankets, wash kits for parents, nappies and most importantly a new portable cold cot”.
Laura and Mitchell have a charity event planned for Saturday 1st October at the GPCA supporting four charities: Star Room, Ectopic Pregnancy, Sands and Remember My Baby Photography.
