RESIDENTS are being encouraged to find out more about a new free app which helps them plan their journeys across Essex sustainably.
The TravelEssex app, which is part of Essex County Council’s Safer, Greener, Healthier approach to travel, enables users to search and plan journeys by train, bus, walking and cycling.
The County Council has released a short animated film which shows the TravelEssex app in action and explores its key features. The animation is available on Youtube at:
Residents can also download the TravelEssex from the relevant app store or find out more at www.travelessex.co.uk
Thanks for the info downloaded app✅
How is this any different to Google Maps or Citymapper? Also, how much did this cost to develop and why couldn't this money have been spent on better and cheaper public transport?
I think they ought to sort out the badly run bus service first,, lost count the number of times a bus hasn't turned up when it should have.
