Kind-hearted Carly donates proceeds of kitchen garden to those in need
Charity / Sun 7th Aug 2022 at 10:32am

A HARLOW woman has turned her garden into an allotment and is donating all the vegetables she produces to those in need.
Ram Gorse resident Carly Burd has called her campaign “A meal on me with love”.
It is a remarkable thing to do by, frankly, a remarkable woman.
Carly has Multiple Sclerosis (MS) but is clearly thinking of everyone else.
But as you may see in this interview, Carly is very concerned as to what the winter and the rise in energy bills will bring.
Carly has invited a number of politicians down to her garden to see what she is doing.
We will be sure to pass on the invitation to Angela Rayner and Lee Anderson.
Wonderful lady, wonderful project. Wondering how many others might have garden space to take a leaf out of Carly's book? Might the Council and Cllrs play a pivotal part by helping people get together, donate land and create community gardens to help people grow their own in every ward in the town?
Thank You so very much, Carly!!! May your work and generosity come back to you one-thousand fold 🧡 🦋 🧡
Amazing work Carly. I’ve just seen your item on ITV news. They say you need help with clearing the allotment in Harlow. How can I help, I’m in Bishop’s Stortford but would love to give you a hand. Xx

Wow not only a beautiful woman but someone with muscle as well. Well done. I hope to meet you someday.
One of the thousands seeing what happened yesterday with the salt. Heart breaking. But so heart warming to see so many come and back what you’ve been doing. I’m in tears Carly, well done!
You’re a true inspiration Carly, selfless and determined. I was so upset watching your Clip about the salt. I truly hope they catch whoever did this. And I hope you get your amazing project back on track. Big respect for you! 👏🏻❤️😘
