He was chair of Harlow Council for twelve days in 2003.
He was most recently a candidate in 2019.
A spokesperson for the Liberal Democrats told YH that his membership had been terminated.
Unfortunately, not the first former Lib Dem councillor for such offences to be reported on in YH
I was part of the team who apprehended him. He was a vile dirty little man who would have raped a child had he not been apprehend by our team. Creatures like him fuel the demand in the market of child abuse by searching for it and downloading it. Those imiges he download have circulated the world. Let us not forget those poor victims.
Well done to the law inforcment officers that took this evil man off the streets. This is the 2nd Lib Dem ex chairman that has been convicted in the last few years for this offence. I'm guessing Robins and Ian Jackson were pals.
