THE Harvey Centre, Harlow is once again proud to be taking part in ‘One Great Day’ on Saturday 24 September between 11am – 4pm, holding its very own fundraising fun day in support of Great Ormond Street hospital and local charity, Haven House Children’s Hospice.

Families are invited to visit the Centre between 11am – 4pm and enjoy One Great Day, there’ll be an opportunity to pose for a caricature, be transformed by one of our talented face painters and take home a custom creation from our balloon modeller, all in exchange for a small donation to charity.

Haven House Children’s Hospice will be hosting a raffle on the day, offering you the chance to win some fabulous prizes donated by local business and stores at The Harvey Centre, all with all proceeds from ticket sales will go to charity.

One Great Day was established in 2014 and has so far raised over £850,000 for more than 330 different children’s charities along with Great Ormond Street Hospice Charity. Their aim is to inspire, engage and empower communities to make a difference by getting involved in a series of local fundraising events, held within shopping centres across the UK on ONE GREAT DAY!

Bryan Young, Centre Manager said, “We are hugely proud to be supporting Great Ormond Street and Haven House Children’s Hospice, charities close to the hearts of the Harlow community. Our aim is to raise as much money as possible to help fund the vital work they both do to help children in need.

We can’t wait for everyone to get involved in with our fantastic family fun day, we will have lots for people of all ages to enjoy! All donations are welcome no matter how big or small so please come along and help make the day one great success!
