Communities / Tue 25th Oct 2022 at 06:53am
JOIN Herts & Essex Community Farm for a Spook-tacular Saturday to celebrate Halloween with fun for all the family. There will be a quest for all ghouls and boos to partake in, with prizes for anyone who dares to enter the witches’ coven. The Halloween fun returns to the farm for the first time since 2019.
The £3 entrance fee for children participating will include entrance into the Halloween hunt, fancy dress competition, and fun Halloween games, some of which will be hosted by Simon from local Fun-Filled Games. There will be a prize for each game and prizes for the best Halloween costumes. Free entry for adults and non-participating children.
This is not a ticketed event so please arrive on the day in good time to participate in all the games and in time for judging of the fancy dress competition which will take place at 1.30pm.
Parking is available for disabled visitors only at the nearby Judo Club, with all other visitors encouraged to arrive by foot or public transport.
There will also be a pop up farm shop selling a range of products including jam, beauty products, plants and a range of pumpkins and squash which would make a delicious, hearty soup, or decadent pumpkin pie.
Herts & Essex Community Farm is a not for profit community growing site situated in Fold Croft, Harlow. Open to all for volunteering opportunities, the site promotes social inclusion and wellbeing in Harlow whilst also providing fresh and organic produce to the local community.
