AT MHP Theatre we have always enjoyed presenting a range of theatrical works and working with different directors. Our next production introduces you to two familiar faces, directing two very different one act plays. Mike Rees and Chris Millington are well known on Harlow stages and are excited to transport you to both a village in Yorkshire and a royal castle. 

“From here to the Library” by Jimmy Chinn, introduces the audience to a library employee, who is struggling through life, having to support her elderly and demanding father. It is a touching and gently humorous portrait of a woman’s life. 

“The Ugly Duckling” by A.A. Milne, is a light hearted play. The classic premise of boy meets girl is turned on its head, with the author questioning what it means to be “attractive”.
