YEAR 4 pupils at Little Parndon Primary Academy took part in a Wow Day at the end of their topic on the Romans.

They got to dress up as Romans, made honey biscuits, re-enacted the Roman fighting tactic the tortoise formation and watched The Rotten Romans.

Teacher Aimee Budd said: “The aim of the day was to engage the children more with the history topic and put all of their learning and understanding into context. 

“The children were excited for weeks leading up to their Roman day.”
