Essex Police seal off Netteswell Pond as part of Phillip Lewis murder investigation

OFFICERS investigating the death of a man in Harlow are continuing search enquiries at Netteswell Pond in Harlow.
Specialist search teams began work on Monday (30 January) and are likely to remain there until the end of the week.
This relates to an ongoing murder investigation following the death of 59-year-old Phillip Lewis from Harlow.
A cordon remains in place and we ask the public to respect this whilst we carry out our enquiries.’
ESSEX Police have sealed off the whole of Netteswell Pond in Harlow.
Netteswell Pond sits off Second Avenue in Harlow.
Police have been at the scene since the early hours of the morning.
Officers are guarding the scene around the pond perimeter.
Much of the police tape is centred near the waterfall area of the pond.
At this time, there was no other signs of police activity such as CID or underwater teams.
