FIRE Crews were called to Fern Hill Lane, Harlow, at 4.41pm yesterday afternoon (Sunday), after reports of a fire.
On arrival, firefighters reported that there were two fires at the scene. The first involved a large pile of rubbish, measuring around 20m x 20m. The second fire was within a derelict building.
Crews worked hard to surround the fires and stop them spreading. They reported that everything had been extinguished just before 7pm.
The Fire Service has told YH that “the cause of the fires has been recorded as accidental or deliberate both possibilities.
I am shocked at how the above comment has not been removed and reported to the police.
What a waste off firemen’s time! Most likely little kids playing around! Embarrassing!
