THE AWARD-Changing Lives team have just returned after a visit to a school in Ghana.
David Simmons and his team of five spent the week in the Abenta Village School near Accra in Ghana.
Their social media channel shows the team coaching football to the pupils.
It looks like it was a great experience for the Changing Lives team as well as the happy pupils at the school.
A spokesperson said: “It’s been a super seven days in Ghana as we explored, created and supported villages and schools.
“A massive well done to all our coaches who travelled with us and experienced our first of many Ghana Experiences.
“Another big thank you to our chaperones Franko and Lord.
“This will just be the start as we begin to create sporting packages for Ghana 2024.”
Last year, Changing Lives were given a £250,000 grant by the National Lottery to continue to do as it says on the tin. Change Lives. Looks like they are continuing to do so.
