I receive endless complaints from residents in Hawthorns, Hilly Field and Corner Meadow regarding anti-social behaviour, attempted break-ins and vandalism. The site is like a rubbish tip and has several burnt out vehicles. The other traveller site near Edinburgh Way does not seem to have any of these issues.

I remember a few years ago when my fathers retirement complex had a number of distraction burglaries. One of the residents had recorded the vehicles registration number and it was given to the police. Two days later, the vehicle, which was stolen, was found burnt out in Fern Hill Lane but no sign of the stolen items. Criminal acts by some residents in Fern Hill Lane never have been a rare occurrence and even by Harlow standards, the travellers site in Fern Hill Lane is one of the worst in Essex.

Harlow guy. Think you’ve just made a huge mistake, as you’ve revealed the identity of someone who was protected by the courts at the time of offfence
