ESSEX Police is investigating a fire reported at an address in Great Brays, Harlow, on Sunday 17 September.

Essex Fire Service contacted Essex Police shortly after midnight.

Following enquiries, Diane Wake, 58, of Great Brays, Harlow, has since been charged with arson with intent to endanger life.

She appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on Monday 18 September and was remanded in custody until a hearing at Chelmsford Crown Court on Monday 16 October.
